ABOUT JUMOKÉ BLAIZE
Both passionate & imaginative, Short & Sweet Cupcakery LLC owner, Jumoké, creates all sorts of dessert ideas while bringing people joy.
At a young age, Long Island, NY native & youngest of three girls, Blaize fell in love with an Easy Bake Oven & quickly started to make new creations she learned from her maternal grandmother. She intently watched her meticulously bake pies & cakes from scratch. Dessert was a simple, sweet way to make her mark.
Jumoké moved to Raleigh, NC, & later graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Go Tar Heels). She began her career in operations management & as a C-Suite Executive Assistant. When she became unemployed due to downsizing, she revisited the craft she truly enjoyed.
Baking became a stress reliever during her transition. Before she knew it, the demand unexpectedly grew. Blaize, known for her efficiency & matter-of-fact attitude, gave Short & Sweet a life of its own, & a few years later it evolved into what is now Short & Sweet Cupcakery LLC.

Short & Sweet Cupcakery is a mini dessert boutique that specializes in custom made cupcakes & portion friendly desserts that are made from scratch with organic/natural ingredients.
I HAVE A NUT ALLERGY, CAN YOU BAKE WITHOUT NUTS?
Short & Sweet Cupcakery LLC is NOT a nut-free home bakery. We cannot guarantee the absence of cross contamination with our baked goods. Short & Sweet Cupcakery LLC & its owners will not assume any liability for adverse reactions to foods consumed. Clients are responsible for notifying Short & Sweet Cupcakery LLC of any other dietary restrictions prior to placing an order.
DO YOU MAKE FULL-SIZED CAKES?
No, we do not make full-size cakes; only mini versions of your favorite desserts. Every order is original & unique. Should you have a request not currently listed on the menu, feel free to inquire. You can check out many of our creations on our Instagram & Facebook pages for ideas.
DO YOU SHIP?
Currently we DO NOT ship. However, we will keep you updated on any changes in the near future.
We DELIVER locally for a small fee based on mileage (typically $5-10) primarily to the Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Research Triangle Park area.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE MUST I PLACE AN ORDER?
While we do our best to accommodate requests, it is best to place your order as soon as possible, because the calendar fills up quickly.
Orders must be placed at least 1 week in advance. Catering orders of 100+ must be placed 3 weeks in advance.
IS THERE A MINIMUM ORDER REQUIREMENT?
Because our sweet treats are made to order, there is a minimum requirement of 1 dozen standard size (or 2 dozen minis).
1 flavor is allotted per order of 1 dozen standard size (or 2 dozen minis).
